Flowers
I have always loved plants, especially ones with showy flowers. I have a graduate degree in Plant Pathology and for many years I worked surrounded by (sick) plants. Flowers are still "growing on me", from 2D flower quilts to 3D "wall flowers" to giant freestanding ones, such as "Root Bound."

PLANTASY – 6 hours
“Plantasy” is the name I use for my fantasy flowers and plants. Learn how to create an original wall quilt with beautiful flowers using the following techniques: designing and creating a fabric collage using fused or regular appliqué, free-motion machine embroidery, thread painting, embellishing with Angelina fiber and beads, couching and bobbin drawing. Patterns are available for those who are not confident to make their own designs.
